GAMS Tech Magnet School is located at 300 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY. GAMS Tech is a K-8 school. For the 2011-2012 school year we will be housing grades K-5 as we begin our transition to a K-8 school.
GAMS Tech school of choice program gives students the opportunity to explore the science and technology fields. We have large computer labs in the building as well as lab rooms with a variety of science equipment.
We are also currently in our third year of implementing PBIS or Positive Behavior Intervention Support. You can read more about PBIS under 'In Our School' above.

LOCAL GUITAR PRODIGY MYLES MANCUSO SHARES HIS LOVE OF MUSIC WITH GAMS STUDENTS
Students at GAMS Tech Magnet School in Newburgh were treated to a special performance by 16-year-old musician Myles Mancuso before spring break recently. Mancuso, a student at Arlington High School, has garnered praise from some of the biggest names in the music industry.

GAMS PBIS Committee Presents at the 2012 Hudson Valley PBIS Share Fair at Ulster BOCES
On March 21st, representatives from the GAMS PBIS Committee presented at the 2012 Hudson Valley PBIS Share Fair at Ulster BOCES. PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) is a school wide system of defining, teaching and reinforcing positive social behaviors.

GAMS 4th and 5th Grade Spring Concerts Rescheduled
The GAMS Spring Concerts for 4th and 5th Grade have been rescheduled to May 10th. The 4th Grade concert will be held at 6PM and the 5th Grade at 7:30PM.

GAMS Students Attend Lincoln Center Concert
Recently, nearly seventy GAMS Tech Magnet School Music Ensemble students visited the Lincoln Center in New York City for an amazing concert, Infinite Rhythm. The concert was followed by tours of the Metropolitan Opera House, Avery Fisher Hall, Vivian Beaumont Theater and the David H. Koch Theater.
